Do you love cycling and want to teach kids to love it too?

Work in School time in B&NES

We are looking for people to train children to cycle on the road. You will work at local schools in B&NES providing  Bikeability cycling courses.

We are running an Instructor Training course in Bath in 1,2 and 8,9 Oct.
Two Consecutive Weekends
9 - 5 pm each day

You will become a National Standard Cycling Instructor.  This is a nationally recognised qualification enabling you to work throughout the UK.

Cycling Instructor Ltd is recognised by the DfT as being an Instructor Training Organisation (ITO)

The essential requirements for a cycling instructor:

• Competent, experienced, regular cyclist
• Have a confident, assertive riding style
• Enjoy teaching both children and adults
• Have a strong interest in promoting cycling
• Must be enthusiastic, motivated and have an overall desire to help individuals to learn
• Have a good understanding of road rules and the Highway Code
• Have a good command of the English language
• Work in a professional manner
• Good timekeeping
• Have an even temperament and friendly disposition
• Be well presented and dress in an appropriate fashion for your clients
• Must have mobile phone.
• Must have Broadband access at home 24/7
• Must have own roadworthy bicycle
• Good General Health
